==OPD AIRSHIP TRACKER HELP==

Tracking the Ontario Police Airship (helicopter) is very easy.  The platform actually tracks all aviation in the Ontario Airport Basin. It tracks about 15 minutes behine and also gives you the option to view history tracks.

The Airship will show up on the map with this X colored icon. It will show up with a trailing line which indicates its previous path. If you mouse-over the icon, a small window pops up and tells you it's altitude and designation. It will always show PD20 or PD30. If it shows something different, it more than likely belongs to a private owner or is a medivac airship. It will also track Rancho Cucamonga Airship 40King. Airships and aircraft that follow the freeway paths are more than likely news media helicopters such as KFWB, KNX, KCAL2/9, KABC, FOX etc. Those will typically show their actual aircraft ID such as N351TH or so.

If you click on the icon, the window will stay in place so you can track it's altitude. The same goes for all the other aircraft on the map. Zoom in and out like a standard Google Map/Yahoo Map for more map detail. If you drag the map outside the radar range of the map, it will tell you it's outside its airport range.

Aircraft are color coded as well. Blue and Green are Ontario's Aircraft. Yellow and Black belong to LAX or Other Airports
